If you are self-isolating we would like to help!
Swavesey Together is a group of volunteers in Swavesey who would like to help those in the village who are self-isolating.
We can help with;
Picking up shopping
A friendly phone call
If you need help please contact Jo, Lisa or Sandie who will co-ordinate your request and have one of the volunteers in your area of the village get in touch with you as soon as possible:
Jo Kerr 07714 625243 firstname.lastname@example.org
Lisa Cohen-Veit 07918 822230 email@example.com
Sandie Smith 07806 709939 firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note - We have heard about scams springing up in different parts of the country where people have been knocking on doors, pretending to be part of a volunteer scheme, and then taking money from people (supposedly for supplies and/or medication) only to disappear. We will NEVER knock on doors and offer help. You must contact our volunteer group in the first instance by email or phone. Please do not open your door to an unknown person.
We are your local neighbours and not a professional body. We can only offer help within reason, and in ways we can also stay safe. If you need medical advice, use the NHS 111 online Coronavirus service at 111.nhs.uk/covid-19, or if you have no internet access, call NHS 111 from your phone. In a medical emergency, dial 999.
If you would like to join our volunteering group Swavesey Together please let us know via any of the emails or mobile numbers above. More information can be found on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/SwaveseyTogether/
Stay safe, we will get through this together!
