A terrific evening and a really big thank you to all who participated at our annual quiz night, raising a little over £1,000 for the Day Centre. A fantastic total and is much appreciated.
Kate and Mike Day ran their 17th quiz, just as challenging and great fun. It is with enormous thanks from us all to Kate and Mike, who were ably assisted by Pastor David Smith and his wife Rebecca, all made the evening so good.
12 teams and 73 quizzers participated with with Dollard's Dullards winning, posting a magnificent score of 110.5, closely followed by Scrambled Eggheads with 104.75 and Kelley's Heros 101.75 - full details can be found on our website - https://www.overdaycentre.co.uk/fundraising/quiz-night-2026-thank-you/
We also ran a fabulous raffle, with prizes donated by our clients, local businesses and individuals. Sam and Claire from our Day Centre team were superb in distributing the prizes, proving that a microphone is not always necessary.
Talking to teams during and at the end of the evening, all very much enjoyed the evening and were looking forward to next year's quiz.
We'd also like to thank all our helpers, Day Centre Staff, our Trustees, and Postscript in making the event such great fun
