Over Memory Café & Lunch Club - Saturday September 27

We welcomed Reggae Ray to our Memory Café for the first time, a bit of Caribbean magic, Soul and Elvis. A very enjoyable morning with singing, a quiz and the usual fantastic selections of cakes and savouries on offer. Please see our Facebook page for more information – OverMemoryCafe

Following our Café we were again almost at our capacity with 27 diners at our Lunch Club who were served Chicken Supreme or Creamy Stuffed mushrooms and for dessert a Tropical Fruit salad with 'homemade' pineapple and coconut ice cream.

A big thank you to our volunteers for their baking and cooking skills and those who made the morning and lunch run so well.

Please do join us at our next Café and Lunch Club, Saturday, October 25 when we’ll be serving Slow Roast Beef brisket with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce, Roast potatoes & seasonal vegetables or a Spinach, feta and pine nut pie, Roast potatoes & seasonal vegetables, followed by Fruit crumble served with custard, cream or ice cream. To book your lunch please drop into the Day Centre or reserve online by visiting our Saturday lunch club booking page

“My niece organised for me to come because I live alone. I thoroughly enjoy it and look forward to my days at the Day Centre. I have a lovely meal, get my hair done, have my nails polished and chat to the new friends that I’ve made.
