Dream catchers at Over Day Centre

Yesterday was the last of four craft sessions led by Max Warrington at Over Day Centre. Using dowel rods and donated wool, clients made a dream-catcher design called a 'God's Eye'. Two of the ladies remembered weaving similar 'diamonds' at primary school, and this brought back happy memories for them.

It's lovely here. I like all the activities and I have friends I sit with. I like the word games best (like Word in a Word) but I'm happy with any quizzes and also the singers that come in to entertain us. I've even done some drumming. We also have animals to visit, like dogs (trained as therapy pets) which I enjoy. The staff look after me and I really like the food. The lunches are really good.
