Thank you to Max Warrington for helping staff to run a cyanotype printing afternoon at the Day Centre. Clients created monochrome prints using special photographic paper and a range of leaves and flowers.
The prints developed within minutes when exposed to the sun. Max then rinsed the images in cold water to stop the developing process and hung the clients' artwork out on the washing line to dry.
Over the next few weeks Max will be helping to organise a clay sculpture workshop and a 3D bird painting afternoon, and will also assist clients in learning the Japanese craft of 'Tatake Zome' or 'flower bashing'.
