It was a busy Easter here at the Day Centre!
In the build up, our clients had great fun making decorations for the Day Room in preparation for our Easter party on Thursday 28 March. And the party itself was a roaring success. The Easter Bunny paid a visit and we also unveiled the winner of our Best Easter Bonnet competition. Well done to our three winners: Irene, Ann and Desmond.
Congratulations to Sheila for guessing the name of our duck, who turned out to be called Louie after one of Donald Duck's three nephews.
And a HUGE thank you to Aimi Percival who very kindly agreed to fill in for Elvis at the last minute. She's a lady who knows how to get a crowd going and she's got a fabulous voice to boot! We'd also like to thank Over Youth Café for donating hot cross buns, which were served to our clients for afternoon tea. And last but not least, a big shout out to the Easter Bunny who brought each client a chocolate egg (handed out by our Lead Carer, Samantha).
