The Staff

Centre Manager - Hayley Smith

Hayley has been working in the care industry for 14 years; both in residential care homes and in the community. She has been at the Day Centre since 2011 and was appointed Centre Manager in February of 2017. Hayley finds her work very rewarding and likes to make a difference to the lives of the Clients.

The Carers - Liza, Karen, Sarah, Aleisha, Tracey and Halina.

The Minibus Driver - Graham has been the qualified driver for many years.

The Volunteers

The Day Centre relies on a large number of Volunteers to carry out its work within the community. There are a wide variety of voluntary roles, and the Day Centre is always looking for more people to help; either on a regular basis or occasionally. (A Data Barring Service check is required).

Become a Friend: Come and spend time with the Clients. Make a cup of tea, have a chat, help serve the lunch, or play a game of scrabble or dominoes. Friendship and the opportunity to socialise is the most important service that the Day Centre can provide.

Cooks: Prepare a two course lunch for Clients in a modern well equipped kitchen. Full training is given.

Kitchen helpers: Clear away after lunch, and prepare afternoon tea and cake for Clients.

Minibus escorts: Assist the driver in ensuring Client safety at all times. Full training is given.
