Sponsored Walks: Sunday 14th May 2017

The Five Pub Challenge will start at 11.00am from the Over Day Centre (where bacon rolls, tea/coffee will be on sale) and proceed the original way round to the Pike & Eel in Needingworth then the Ferry Boat in Holywell for free soup and a bread roll, the Three Tuns in Fen Drayton for a free cone of chips (for those arriving before 2.30pm).  Then continuing on to the White Horse in Swavesey for a free choc ice and back to the Over Community Centre in Over for a free piece of home made cake. This walk will be marked with directional arrows and instructions/maps will be given.

The Meridian Meander includes two circular walks encompassing historic St Ives and beautiful local villages such as Houghton and Hemingford Grey. Registration and start for both the 18 and 26 mile circular walks is between 8.00-9.00am from the Over Day Centre (where bacon rolls, tea/coffee will be on sale). There is plentiful parking at or near the start.  There are three checkpoints with free snacks provided and there are also opportunities buy refreshments on the walk.  Both walks finish at The Over Community Centre, The Doles CB24 5NW (a short walk from the start).  Please be aware that these walks will not be way-marked but detailed instructions will be given on arrival.  Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult. The closing date to register is 9th May; sorry but no entry on the day.
